project rhino

Join Odyssey and our esteemed partner for a once-in-a-lifetime experience where you’ll play a crucial role in wildlife conservation. As part of the world’s largest orphaned rhino sanctuary—closed to public visits—participants gain exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of orphaned and injured rhinos. Your journey includes hands-on involvement in rhino care, from milk preparation and bottle-feeding to husbandry, behavioral observations, and health monitoring. While contact with the orphans is limited to essential needs, you’ll also assist in monitoring released rhinos, tracking calves born in the protected area, and supporting the rehabilitation of other African wildlife. Beyond direct conservation work, you’ll capture vital field data, attend expert-led lectures, and experience activities such as bush walks, night drives, and stargazing. With opportunities to engage in community upliftment projects, this program is both challenging and deeply rewarding—ensuring you leave with unforgettable memories and the knowledge that you've made a real impact.
